and the best phrase ever - 'calm as hindu cows'
so darn flippant a simile but it makes a lot of sense if you think about it. cows are sacred in hinduism so they're always calm and peaceful, without needing to worry about being slaughtered like their other animal counterparts.
(may i add i'm blogging this at 530 in the morning, where i tend to be at the most absurd)
